Annual Fete

This splendid event is held in the grounds of St John's Church and Primary School, with some stalls within the school and church.  It is a fund-raising activity for the church and school communities, and consists of traditional maypole dancing by the school children, singing, stalls, games, tombolas, bouncy castle, music and entertainment, and food, beer and Pimms tents.  It is a wonderful day out for the whole family, with free car parking and modest entrance fee.

The fete is a very big event and takes a lot of organisation. if you would like to help in any way, either with the preparations or on the day, please get in touch by clicking Email: info or using the form at the bottom of the Who's who and Contacts page.

It's Time to think about the Lemsford Fete (2024)

Paul Butler chair of the Lemsford Fete Committee says: "The fete committee is starting to plan the 2024 event. As part of that we are holding an ideas evening on the 18th October at 8pm in the After School Club up at the school.

The evening will discuss what new ideas or entertainments would be good to introduce and what of the existing ones are invited again.

Also, if you're interested in becoming more involved in organising the event you can also make yourself known to committee members."
